The original 1980s terrazzo flooring and ceiling height were preserved and treated as design anchors rather than constraints. Around these existing elements, a mid-century modern furniture selection and retro-inflected finishes were layered in — materials that feel at home within the building's timeline while updating the space for contemporary living. The design proves that renovation at its best is a conversation with what already exists.
